A Party To Remember... « Result #2 on Feb 27, 2008, 12:04pm »

A Party to Remember is not your average modern role playing site, all of the information is in the above link, but some fast facts. We're Literate/Advanced. We have a pretty even gender ratio, so we need females as much as males. MxM, FxF and FxM are allowed. We have no censors, so obviously language, violence and romance are allowed. We are looking for originals just as much as we are looking to fill our simple premades. My contacts are listed in the site above.

The majestic queen of the Andalie had three lovely children she. One to darkness, he be drawn, and one to light, she be shown. The third between, mocked by fate though young she be, the key to the gate. Double eclipse, it is foreseen, Light meets dark in the stillness between. The one who steers the youngest home, shall save the country and take the throne.
This prophecy, made when the Queen of Andalasia was with her first child, has been believed for thirty years. The Queen’s eldest child began a rebellion against her mother, drawing more and more on dark magic as he grew. At age twenty, he broke away from the family and began to rebel against their mother and the Royal family. The eldest child is now thirty years of age, and growing more powerful every day. A war has broken out between his followers and his mother and father’s army.
Most of the country still remains loyal to the Royal family, though they are afraid of what the Queen’s eldest child will do to them if they are left unprotected. The biggest problem here is that you can’t tell who is for which side, save the fact that most of the Queen’s army wears a specific uniform.
In an effort to protect her two daughters, the queen has sent them to different areas of Andalasia. The two young women have been sent off with a protection detail. Her attention has shifted a bit towards her youngest, Nicolette. Is she really the key to the rebellion? And if so, if her oldest silbing gets his hands on her, what will happen to the teenager?

Pendragon Academy for the Gifted « Result #6 on Oct 29, 2007, 10:23pm »

In 1871, Noah Pendragon I, a scientist from South Dakota discovered a rare genetic disfigurement in the DNA of one of his patients. He soon realised that this genetic disfigurement caused his patient to act in a rather inhumane behaviour. His patient expressed abilities that were out of the norm. He searched the fifty states for more people like his patient. Though he discovered very few, there were others in the world with this genetic disfigurement. Pendragon watched with amazement as those people demonstrated to him what they could do. From teleportation to telekinesis, to metamorphous to flight, Pendragon was dumbfounded. However, not all of these abnormal people were keen on sharing their abilities with the scientist. Most feared his reaction, and the reactions of their friends and families. It was then that the ageing man decided to create an institute to aid those with abilities to help them control them and shield them from the unaccepting public. Thus, the Pendragon Academy for the Gifted was founded.
Fast forward to 2007, Noah Pendragon I has long passed, but the Pendragon Academy for the Gifted lives on as a private boarding school, for grades freshman to senior of high school, lead by Noah Pendragon VI. Located in a secluded area of South Dakota, Pendragon is known as being a very prestigious school that only allows in the very best. In reality the only students accepted are those with the genetic disfigurement and who express supernatural abilities. Here the staff and teachers are on hand to aid these special students control their unthinkable powers, keep them in check, and prepare them to face the real world as someone who is not normal. At least, that's what they tell the parents.
The reality of this world is not as clean as you might think. Most of the parents who send their children to this academy send them because they are frightened or disturbed by what they have produced. Some of these children are too much of a hassle for their parents, others claim they sent them to Pendragon Academy as it was the best thing for them. Whatever the reason, the students that arrive at Pendragon are not normally the happiest, best behaved bunch of teenagers. Fights and relationships are taken to the extremes, influenced by their abilities and close living quarters.
There are more secrets that lie beneath the surface of the school, and mainly lie within the staff. Though the First Pendragon was a noble man with good intentions, his descendants were far from this. Pendragon VI is a selfish man, who wants to lock these genetically different kids away from society. He is very strict about who is let in and out of the school. In fact he built a surrounding village, with cafes, bars and such, named Dragon's Den Village, secretly run by the staff, so that students wouldn't feel the need to go back to their homes. And though none of the other staff or students know, he has many scientists working on a way that he may gradually extract the genetic disfigurement from the DNA of the school's students, and then transfer them to his own DNA. However his scientists are far from finding a way of doing this, and Pendragon VI is growing more and more impatient. He is always unsure of how far or close he is from realising his dream of controlling the world through these stolen abilities.
So here you are, a gifted child forced into the Pendragon Academy for the Gifted, amongst all these other students with diverse abilities like yours. No one can predict what will happen, but we guarantee your high school years will be unforgettable.

Hello there all of my good friends at this incredibly popular site! I'm here to tell you about a site that doesn't have quite so many members, but has great potential and an opportunity to roleplay for EVERYONE! You can roleplay ANYTHING that you could EVER think of! So long as it follows the rules, of course!
When you join, you audition to see whether you are Illiterate, Semi-Literate, Literate, or Advanced. There are some boards that are divided into these categories where only say Literates can play, but MOST of the site is devoted to all other categories that ANYONE can roleplay in! Interested? Please, at least check it out:

lakeside international
A boarding school founded in the outskirts of a small town of De Montfort in Leicester. Lakeside has expanded from a little boarding school roleplay, without many interesting places to roleplay, into an entire town or neighbourhood roleplay. Made for those who wish to escape the illiterate boards on neopets, those who wish to broaden their roleplay abilities or those who simply hate having to either: restart roleplays on new boards, roleplay over neomail or hotmail, or perhaps those who stopped roleplaying because of those incapable of conjuring up a decent post. Well, here at Lakeside; we accept literate role-players to advanced, so you’re most likely to find someone to roleplay with who is at the same level as you!
Please do fill out an application to be a teacher, there could be an interesting plot hidden somewhere along the way when or if you do! Which brings me onto the next point; plots will always be going, and are sure to keep you interested. But if you have a plot idea, feel free to say it, it could be chosen. Well, that’s all I have to say.
I thought, maybe people would be interested :3 Its sorta new and revived so some people might be interested, thanks!
